4 th year is something all the engg students waits for . for this is the time, they can b the seniormost citizens of the college, makin laws, rulin the subordinates, and most importantly the amount of pressure from studies negligible, no need to worry about examinations, cycle tests, assignments, labs, attendence and so many other things that they are going thru from last 3 years. Most importantly wen the ppl get placed in some company, then its thought to be the best part as they are sure of he future and don’t bother much wat happens in this year.

But its awfully wrong if you happen to be in EEE branch of SRM, we hav class 5 days a week, all 8 periods with no free period. We hav 3 labs. And ya we hav to make records and evn observations. And there is 6 theory subjects. The cycle tests and model exams are given the same importance as the internals are depended on it.

My interview went on for around 20-25 min.first he asked abt urslf,then wat is electricity? how is it generated?[1st yr basic mechanical] tell abt workin of thermal power plant? abt workin of hydel power plant? wats potn energy? give examples...wats in use at neyveli...,,,in kalpakkamhow turbine works?[fluid mechanics][transmission n distribution] how is electricity transmitted? explain how is distributed till ur hous
abt c++,wat is structurewats switchwat can b substitued for switch?wats compiler how it works? wats diff btw interpreter n compilerwat is qbasic? hows it diff frm basic?
digital-area of interestwats totem pole...logic families, flip flops

i askd him abt how my intervw was n abt trainin... he said the interview was gud... but there were some small mistakes in Resume...
they was vry frndly and gave me small hints whenevr i ws struck....be prepared wit all the things u mention in ur resume--top to bottom.... also hav basic idea abt ur subjects in 2nd,3rd yr... also if u dont kno anythin... tell it frankly in the beginnin itself.....
